Our next meeting will be on Friday, September 14. Juniors & Cadettes will start at 5pm. Daisies & Brownies will start at 5:30pm
Fees:
Registration- $12 can be completed online by clicking here OR by filling out this form, attaching the registration check and giving it to Lara Wiggins or Tricia Lannaman. If registration is completed online, please e-mail kcsmagirlscouts@gmail.com with your daughter's name and troop level so we can add her to the appropriate group.
Service Unit Dues - $3. Payable to the Troop. This money does not stay within the troop. It is paid to our service unit area, Kenworth to expand services in the area.
Troop Dues - $1 per meeting. Payable per meeting. Each girl can hand this amount over to her Leader at the beginning of every meeting. We would like your girls to begin practicing some responsibility. If you feel otherwise, please let us know and we can make alternate arrangements.
Additional Costs - as applicable. Additional cost for trips, outing and events will be communicated in advance.
ASP
You will need to register your daughter(s) for ASP even if they will not be attending. There is a $25 registration. If you choose to have your daughter stay at ASP on meeting days, an additional $8 fee is applicable per day. If your daughter is in ASP and registered for Girl Scouts, they will be called to the meeting.
Uniforms
Uniforms are an important aspect of the Girl Scout girl. Our girls will be required to wear basic uniform during our meetings. Basic uniform is a sash or a vest. Uniform information can be found here (click appropriate level). During outings, girls will be required to be in full uniform.

Our meetings will be held every other Friday. This is the tentative schedule for 2012.

Emails
Please note that every effort is made to make sure everyone who is interested in Girl Scouts. If you have any friends in the KCSMA community who do not currently receive emails, please have them email us at kcsmagirlscouts@gmail.com and ask to be added to our email list. Beginning October 1st, only registered individuals will receive e-mails from the troop. I will be sending out an email to everyone who is on the troop roster currently. If you do not receive an email but you have registered your daughter, please let us know as soon as possible so we can get it straightened out with council.
Volunteers
We can always use more volunteers. Our leaders need assistants and we need parent involvement. If you are able and willing to help in any way, please start by going to www.gsgatl.org and click on volunteer to get started. You will need to pay the same $12 registration fee and go through additional verification with Girl Scouts. Please let us know if we can be of assistance.

Update: First Meeting - 8/31/12
Good Afternoon to you all! We hope you have enjoyed a wonderful summer and are now prepared for the upcoming school year. We know we're excited to see you. We had an overwhelming interest in the troop and we can't wait to get the year started. With that said, our first meeting will be held on Friday, August 31st from 5:30pm - 6:30pm. Parents are strongly encouraged to be there. We will be introducing our team and getting to know the girls. Please let us know as soon as possible if you will be in attendance with your daughter(s).

Please let us know how you can help.

Parent Meeting - 7/14/2012
Wow! It's hard to believe that school starts in just 5 weeks! Summer has gone by so quickly.
In preparing for the new school year, we would like to invite you all to a parent meeting.

Welcome
Welcome to the KCSMA Girl Scouts blog. This blog is dedicated to troop 12712 which operates out of Kennesaw Charter Science and Math Academy in Kennesaw, GA. Our troop is a mixture of daisies, brownies, cadets and juniors with a dedicated troop leader assigned to each level.
